The Allegan County Michigan Works! Service Center provides area employers, at no cost, with a number of employment services in one convenient location. Our staff can help you develop job descriptions and post your job openings on Michigan's Job Bank, an internet employment service, as well as show you how to access Michigan's Talent Bank, an internet database of hundreds of thousands of resumes. If you're not hooked to the internet, we will help you get that connection or will post jobs and run searches for you. Our staff can answer questions about taxes, health benefits, employee training programs and other human resource concerns. We also have information concerning state and federal programs that provide tax credits and subsidies to employers who hire workers from targeted groups.
